Enjoy the outdoors and hunting for treasure? Geocaching might be your new favorite hobby. Join us to get an introduction and find your first cache.
Geocaching is a fun and exciting way to exercise both mind and body by treasure hunting in the great outdoors. By using a smartphone, following a set of coordinates, and using clues, you hunt for a cache of hidden goodies. Join us for a workshop to learn about the different types of geocaches, how to read GPS coordinates, and how to decipher clues to begin your treasure-hunting adventure. We will begin with a presentation and then make our own cache swag and then put what we've learned into practice by hunting the cache at the library! Families are welcome!
