Join Statewide Services & Outreach at the Ohio Deaf & Blind Education Services as we enjoy a story and activity together.
Families with children 0 – 6 years old that are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, or deafblind and their siblings are welcome to attend. In fact, we would love for you to bring grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and more! Older children are welcome, but the activity will be geared toward younger children. The story will be read by an incredible local role model who is deaf. An American Sign Language interpreter will be present as well as teachers of the deaf and teachers of the visually impaired. All communication modalities are welcome. Each family will receive the story that we read together as well as a story box that will help bring the book alive for your child.
For more information, please reach out to Abby white@osdb.oh.gov or Kandice Trainer at youthservices@crcpl.org.
