Your mission is to choose a graphic novel and read! We will then share our thoughts about our books with other enthusiasts. Be ready to get your "next read" ideas. Snacks and a craft will be provided!
Graphic novels have become the hot new ticket in juvenile literature. They are like a comic book with a longer narrative, but they can be any genre of literature and any reading level. They have become the bridge to excitement for books for many otherwise hesitant readers. We hope to build on this at the library by offering a book club where we share and discuss all of our favorite things about graphic novels, enjoy a snack and do some fun activities. This month we will be making buttons.
The Howard S. Young Branch, located in the heart of the Village of Frankfort, offers something for everyone, with a robust collection, patron computers, public meeting room, free WiFi, and programs for all ages.
