In this series of hands-on event, we will plant and care for our library garden. Wild Ones South Central Ohio will be joining us to talk about including native plant species in your garden.
Thursday May 8th, 5-7pm: Garden planting
Thursday June 12th, 5-7pm: Garden care
Saturday July 5th, 9-10am: Garden care
During the garden care sessions (or anytime you want to stop by!), please feel free to enjoy things that are ready to harvest. We appreciate you stopping in at the library to weigh your produce or flowers so we know how much is being produced.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. We will have some gardening gloves and tools available to borrow, but if you have favorites, please bring them.
You can do it all at the Main Library. The Main Library features a robust collection on three floors, several meeting rooms for public reservation, library and community-sponsored programs for all ages, a computer and reference lab, children's room, genealogy and local history room, our Book-a-Bike program and more!
