Learn how to prepare for and respond appropriately to disasters that are relevant to our community.

Floods, winter storms, and home fires are just a few of the disasters that can be devasting to our loved ones, homes, and communities. Build confidence by learning simple steps you can take now to help prepare and protect your family.

The American Red Cross will join us to teach Be Red Cross Ready. This is a national free preparedness education curriculum for adults taught by certified presenters. The program is designed to help people understand, prepare for, and respond appropriately in a disaster.

You can do it all at the Main Library. The Main Library features a robust collection on three floors, several meeting rooms for public reservation, library and community-sponsored programs for all ages, a computer and reference lab, children's room, genealogy and local history room, our Book-a-Bike program and more!
