CRCPL has library cards for kids and teens, adults, educators, visitors, homebound patrons, book clubs, and eResource users.
Library cards may be issued only to residents of Ohio or temporary residents who are expecting to live in Ohio for at least three months.
Full-privilege borrowing cards: To receive a library card with full borrowing privileges, you must present a photo ID and verification of current address at any library location. If the photo ID does not include your current address, another document with current address is required. A card with limited borrowing privileges may be issued without a photo ID or verification of address.
eResource cards: If you apply for a library card online, you will receive a temporary ID that allows you to immediately access all of our online resources except hoopla (Please visit a library location to upgrade your card for hoopla access.). It will also allow you to check out 3 items from the library collection (Beyond Books items not included). If you would like to check out more than 3 items, or items from the Beyond Books collection, you will need to upgrade your card. You can do this by visiting any library location with your photo ID and proof of address.
The library provides access to fiction and nonfiction materials for adults, teens and children. We have paperbacks, hardbacks, large print, magazines, Books on CD, Playaway audiobooks, music CDS, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.
In addition to our vast local collection, patrons can borrow items from other Serving Every Ohioan Consortium member libraries across the state. Interlibrary loan is also available, and we encourage you to fill out a Purchase Suggestion form if you still can't find what you're looking for in our catalog.

If a user has overdue items, borrowing privileges will be suspended until the items are renewed or returned. Items not returned within 42 days of being overdue will be marked as lost, and the user will be billed the cost of the items. Fees may also be incurred for damaged materials.
Most items for general circulation are eligible to be auto-renewed up to four times, as long as there are no other requests on the item, and as long as the item hasn't exceeded four renewals. You can always check your renewals and due dates here: My Account
