With the assistance of the State Library of Ohio, Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library (CRCPL) completed an Appreciative Inquiry study in early 2024. This study included a community survey to evaluate the effectiveness and direction of the library’s services and priorities. With additional input from library staff and board members, it was affirmed that CRCPL is on solid ground with its initiatives, programming, and partnerships. The following roadmap represents the intention to “stay the course” while improving upon that infrastructure.

This strategic plan will guide the library’s decision-making and spending priorities through achievable and aspirational goals and actions for the next few years.
