Insurance
- Medical (Aetna), Dental (Guardian), and Vision (Guardian) insurance plans
- coverage options include single, dual, employee/children or family
- 80% paid by the library, 20% paid by employee
- Life insurance:
- $25,000 policy paid 100% by the library
- additional life insurance coverage for employee, spouse and dependents are paid by employee but can be purchased at library group rates
- Additional voluntary insurance benefits include hospital, accident, and illness supplemental coverages
- paid by employee, but can be payroll deducted
Retirement
- Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS)
- no social security tax on employee wages
- five year vesting

Paid Leave Time
- Holidays: 11 paid per calendar year
- Vacation:
- 1-4 years of service = 2 weeks (based on regularly scheduled hours)
- 5-9 years of service = 3 weeks (based on regularly scheduled hours)
- 10-14 years of service = 4 weeks (based on regularly scheduled hours)
- 15-19 years of service = 5 weeks (based on regularly scheduled hours)
- 20+ years of service = 6 weeks (based on regularly scheduled hours)
- Sick:
- 120 hours accrued annually for employees working 40 hours per week
- 90 hours accrued annually for employees working 30-39 hours per week
- unused hours will carry over from year to year
- CRCPL pays 50% of unused sick hours for employees upon OPERS retirement
- new employees may transfer accumulated sick leave credit from another Ohio public library or Ohio public agency up to 1,170 or 1,560 hours
- Jury Duty: paid when summoned for jury duty
- Working Election Polls: paid when hours fall during regular schedule
- Personal Leave: 24 hours (40 hour employees) or 18 hours (30 hour employees) per calendar year
- Wellness Leave: four hours annually upon participation in the Wellness Program
