Friends of the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library

The Friends of the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Library's mission of enriching our community by providing free access to information, fostering a love for reading, promoting lifelong learning, and creating a welcoming space for connections and collaboration. Through memberships, book sales, fundraising events, and generous donations, the Friends provide financial support for Bookworm Summer Reading, special projects, grants, and other initiatives that support library services throughout Ross County.

Let's Be Friends!

The Friends of the Library is a welcoming group of community members who share a passion for libraries, literacy, and lifelong learning. Their support helps create meaningful opportunities for patrons of all ages.

By volunteering, advocating for the Library, or becoming a member, the Friends help strengthen the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library and make a lasting impact on our community.

The Friends’ Board of Trustees generally meets on the second Monday of each month at 6pm at the Main Library and meetings are open to the public.
