Reluctant readers or kids first learning to read are encouraged to pay a visit to our listening dog. Call the library to reserve your 15-minute time slot on the available Tuesdays at the Main Library.
Reading to a licensed therapy dog allows children to develop their skills by reading aloud in a therapeutic, no-pressure environment. He is great with kids and very gentle, and he loves to listen!
You can do it all at the Main Library. The Main Library features a robust collection on three floors, several meeting rooms for public reservation, library and community-sponsored programs for all ages, a computer and reference lab, children's room, genealogy and local history room, our Book-a-Bike program and more!
