Come enjoy some refreshments, while making crowns, sugar scrub, and love and friendship inspired cards.
Galentine’s Day was inspired by a 2010 episode of “Parks and Recreation” and the character Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler. The character inspired women to celebrate female friendship the day before Valentine’s Day. This special event is for women and teens to focus on fun and friendship. As February is "Love your Library" month, maybe you could make a card for your library! There are no restrictions on who you can celebrate Galentine's Day with. You can include moms, aunts, cousins, daughters and sisters along with your best gal pals.
The Howard S. Young Branch, located in the heart of the Village of Frankfort, offers something for everyone, with a robust collection, patron computers, public meeting room, free WiFi, and programs for all ages.
