Learn techniques to create three unique holiday cards to send to loved ones this holiday season.
Join us for an evening of creating unique holiday cards. We will learn how to make three different cards or use your imagination to create your own design. We have a variety of supplies available for use including stamps, pens, glitter, ribbon, paper, stickers, etc.
Writing and receiving cards or letters has been proven to improve well-being and reduce social isolation. Giving the recipient a handwritten card improves their mood and well-being and makes them feel good. Compared to receiving texts, emails, or messages on social media, receiving a card makes the recipient feel far more special and cared for. Cards serve as a reminder of the sender and the relationship with them, so many cards are saved for years and put on display in homes.
You can do it all at the Main Library. The Main Library features a robust collection on three floors, several meeting rooms for public reservation, library and community-sponsored programs for all ages, a computer and reference lab, children's room, genealogy and local history room, our Book-a-Bike program and more!
