Bookworm is for everyone, and this after-hours party will help our adult readers to kick off their summer! BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) or pick up one of our suggestions.

Here’s what to expect:


6:30-7:30 pm | Arrive, grab a snack, and settle in with your book of choice for a half hour or so of quiet reading. We’ll also be on hand to help you pick out a book.


7:30-8 pm | Spend some time mingling with your fellow bookwormers, browse the shelves for more books, and snag a special Bookworm Kickoff button. If you haven’t signed up for Bookworm, this is the perfect time! We can also help you log your reading time.

About the branch

You can do it all at the Main Library. The Main Library features a robust collection on three floors, several meeting rooms for public reservation, library and community-sponsored programs for all ages, a computer and reference lab, children's room, genealogy and local history room, our Book-a-Bike program and more!
