Administrative Policy

Section 6: Meals & Gifts for Library Staff & Trustees

Library administration may choose to provide meals for library staff and trustees during gatherings such as staff meetings, trainings and staff in-service day.  These meals will be kept to a minimum and library administration will do their due diligence in finding meals that are affordable in nature.

Also, staff and trustees may be awarded gifts at various times in their library careers.

Staff will be given a gift from the library upon on their retirement.

Staff are also eligible for service awards at each 5-year milestone in their service to the library.

Long term library board members may be recognized with a gift from the library upon their departure from the board.
